Resilient

When one is resilient, he or she has the ability to bounce back from tough stuff and even grow stronger as a result. Our society uses the term “resilience” when speaking about a person who is able to bounce back from a difficult situation and land on his or her feet. In EWG, resilience is defined this way: “It is about having enough sleep, fuel, grit, friends, love, faith, hope, and growth to tend to the mind, body, and spirit. Resilience is the ability to renew and sustain ourself despite life’s many losses and challenges.”
